USA Organic Trade Mission, join us!

The USA is the largest organic market for organic products, with total organic sales in the U.S. setting a new record of $49.4 billion in 2017.
82% of American households purchase organic products on a regular basis.
7-9th March – Natural Products Expo West – Anaheim, CA
10th March – free day (make your way to San Francisco)
11th – 14th/15th March – based in San Francisco.
The program will include:
– Visits and meetings with retail chains, including Whole Foods Market (hosted by The VP of the Northern California and Reno region, meetings with category buyers, distribution center and store visit), Good Earth Natural Foods (hosted by Mindee Jeffery).
– Meetings with key decision makers, retailers and distributor(s).
– In-Market Analysis
– Visits to organic farms, wholesalers, businesses and vineyards. These will be tailored around which sectors participants are from.
What is included?
– All visits and meetings to retailers / stores, distributor(s), wholesaler(s), buyers, distribution centers, regional office(s), farms, vineyards, etc.
– Meetings and briefings from leaders and decision makers in the US organic Industry
– Some ground transport in San Francisco, including to all farms in Northern California

Who is leading the Trade Mission to the USA in March, 2019?
Kim Morgan. Kim has a thorough knowledge of export market compliance requirements and is a Consultant in the organic and wellness industries. Kim organises and runs International Trade Missions and stands at trade and consumer events in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
Sarah Hawthorne (Northern California sector). Sarah is a Certified Health Coach (founder of My Balance & Wellness), Australian Organic Ambassador (2016) and member of the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture’s (CUESA) Foodwise Kids Program (2017). Sarah lives an organic lifestyle and lives in The San Francisco Bay Area.
Numbers are strictly limited and positions on The Trade Mission will be allocated to those that sign up before the maximum number of participants.
We will then provide options on accommodation and flights (not included).
Participating individuals and businesses might be eligible to apply for Austrade’s Export Market Development Grant (EMDG)
And/or State Government Export Grants.
