Australian Organic’s operational team of experts are supported by the Chief Executive Officer. Based at AOL's HQ in Brisbane, the operational team contribute to the day-to-day running of the organisation. See our team members below to learn more about them.

Amanda McLennan
Marketing Manager

Amanda joined Australia Organic in 2019 with experience working within corporate marketing teams delivering design, event and marketing projects. As Marketing Manager, Amanda leads the marketing team, overseeing all projects, campaigns, and communications.

Josefine Pettersson
Technical Officer

Josefine Pettersson joined AOL as Technical Officer in June 2021 with a focus on standards development and market access to further advance the Organic industry. Josefine has a Masters of Organic Agriculture coupled with industry experience, at management level, in both cropping and livestock. Having worked in the EU and Australia, she brings a new perspective of Organic Agriculture and insight to advancing opportunities of Australian producers.

Kelly Treacy
Executive Assistant

Kelly joined Australian Organic in July 2019. As Executive Assistant, Kelly directly supports CEO Niki Ford, the Board of Directors and the Industry Advisory Committees. Kelly also supports the AOL team with day-to-day diary management, meeting coordination and administration support.

Marie Deletoille
Membership Executive

Marie joined Australian Organic Limited in July 2021 as Membership Executive. With a background in hospitality and customer service, Marie will dedicate her time to supporting members and continuing to provide outstanding members value.

Nicholas Mukherjee
Research and Policy Officer

Nicholas joined Australia Organic Limited in March 2021 as the Research and Policy Officer with a background in policy work within government departments and for a member of parliament. Nicholas oversees AOL’s research and policy work including positions on policy and legislation affecting the organics industry.

Niki Ford
Chief Executive Officer

Driven by her rural roots, Niki has a strong interest in agriculture, nutrition & organics. Niki joined AOL in 2018 becoming the first CEO. Since then, she has successfully navigated a demerge, restructured the operational team & established strong connections with Government & industry. Niki has played a pivotal role in establishing a strong reputation on behalf of the organic industry & led successful negotiations relating to the organic regulatory review for Australian domestic standards.

Shari Burke
Partnerships & Operations Manager

Shari joined Australian Organic in February 2020, with a background in not-for-profit, member-based organisations, as well as sponsorships and events. Shari oversees partnerships for Australian Organic, looking after members and sponsors in order to strengthen ongoing relationships.
