Australian Organic’s operational team of experts are supported by the Chief Executive Officer. Based at AOL's HQ in Brisbane, the operational team contribute to the day-to-day running of the organisation. See our team members below to learn more about them.
Amanda joined Australia Organic in 2019 with experience working within corporate marketing teams delivering design, event and marketing projects. As Marketing Manager, Amanda leads the marketing team, overseeing all projects, campaigns, and communications.
Casie joined Australian Organic in October 2022 as the Program Manager. With over ten years working for an organic certification body, she brings her extensive industry background and knowledge to the Australian Organic team.
Josefine Pettersson joined AOL in June 2021 with a focus on standards development and market access to further advance the Organic industry. Josefine has a Masters of Organic Agriculture coupled with industry experience, at management level, in both cropping and livestock. Having worked in the EU and Australia, she brings a new perspective of Organic Agriculture and insight to advancing opportunities of Australian producers.
Kane joined Australian Organic Limited in April 2022 with experience in corporate marketing and communications, as well as content and technical writing. Kane has a Masters of Creative Industries and is responsible for email marketing campaigns, managing website content and producing written marketing collateral.
Maddy joined AOL as Marketing Assistant in August 2022. Studying marketing and communication at university, Maddy is responsible for creating and delivering social media content and designing communication material for the company.
Marie joined Australian Organic Limited in July 2021 as Membership Executive. With a background in hospitality and customer service, Marie will dedicate her time to supporting members and continuing to provide outstanding members value.
Nagini joined Australian Organic Limited in December 2021 as Administration and Accounts Officer. Nagini is accountable for the daily financial administration of the business.
Nicholas joined Australia Organic Limited in March 2021 as the Research and Policy Officer with a background in policy work within government departments and for a member of parliament. Nicholas oversees AOL’s research and policy work including positions on policy and legislation affecting the organics industry.
Inspired by her family, Niki has a strong connection to the land, sustainable food, and nutrition. Her professional passion and desire to contribute to a greater purpose led Niki to join Australian Organic Limited in 2018, becoming the first Chief Executive Officer. Since her appointment she has navigated a demerge, restructured the organisation into the highly regarded industry peak body of today and established strong, respected relationships with government and industry, championing the organic industry in all aspects.
