Where: Online with Zoom

We invite organic horticulture growers and operators to engage with Australian Organic Limited’s response to the Australian Government’s review of the Horticulture Code of Conduct through a dedicated consultation webinar and survey.

This is the first review of the Code in nearly a decade and represents a critical opportunity to ensure the real-world experiences and needs of the organic sector are heard. The Code governs how growers and buyers trade and interact across Australia, and the outcomes of this review will have a direct impact on commercial relationships and market practices.

To support strong, evidence-based advocacy, AOL is gathering feedback from growers in two ways: through a short online survey and via participation in this webinar. Members are encouraged to engage through either or both channels. Those unable to attend the webinar are strongly encouraged to complete the survey so their views can still be included.

Share your input: The survey takes about 5–10 minutes to share your lived experiences and help us gather the data needed for a strong submission.

During the webinar, we will share insights gathered to date, discuss key issues facing organic horticulture operators in their dealings with wholesalers and buyers, and provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and contribute further feedback.

Feedback gathered through both the survey and webinar will directly inform Australian Organic Limited’s formal submission to government.

This webinar is intended for organic growers and operators affected by, or interested in, the Horticulture Code of Conduct and its future development.
