Join us for an inspiring start to the day at the ‘Farming with Less Inputs’  Panel and Breakfast on Tuesday June 2, during Hort Connections week in Adelaide.

With representatives from Hort Innovation, Harris Farm and Bulla Park, the panel will explore lower input production systems in Australian horticulture and how growers and businesses can navigate increasingly unpredictable supply chains and climates.

You’ll be joining an inspiring conversation with:

  • Olive Hood — Research & Development Manager (Sustainability), Hort Innovation
  • Georgia Beattie — CEO, Bulla Park
  • Martine Cooper — Head of Merchandise Strategy, Harris Farm Markets
  • Carlo Ceravolo — Head Buyer, Harris Farm Markets
  • Hosted by Jackie Brian — CEO, Australian Organic Limited.

The discussion will examine how growers are responding to increasing pressure around input costs, resilience, traceability and long-term sustainability, while highlighting practical insights and opportunities emerging across the sector.

The breakfast will also mark the launch of the Organic Horticulture RD&I Strategy.

For the first time, the entire organic sector came together to co-design a strategic roadmap to 2035, identifying key research needs, production priorities, and innovation opportunities to strengthen and grow a more competitive, resilient and well-connected organic horticulture sector.  Learn more about the project and read the Draft Strategy here.

Come enjoy a delicious breakfast of local South Australian organic produce, a facilitated panel discussion with audience Q&A and be a part of the conversations shaping the future of organic horticulture.

Price: $20 – includes organic breakfast & beverages. Spaces are limited, be sure to secure your spot today.
