This form to be used by any certified operator; Certification Body; or concerned member of the public, to formally request a change be made to the Australian Certified Organic Standard (ACOS).
The development of the ACOS is an open and transparent process. Anyone can contribute to development and upkeep of the document. We are however constrained in what we can change by a commitment to alignment with our National Standard for Organic and Bio-dynamic Produce; adhering to important export market requirements, and; consumer expectations, among other things. Changes to the ACOS require rigorous assessment by our Technical staff; relevant Advisory Groups, and ultimately approval by our Board of Directors.
Australian Organic Limited (AOL) is the peak body for the organic industry.
