This form to be used by any certified operator, or Certification Body, to formally request a published interpretation of a clause of the Australian Certified Organic Standard (ACOS).
The purpose of this form, and the assessment process behind it, is to help operators be sure they are complying to the Standard. If there is a scenario or course of action you would like to follow at your certified operation, but believe the ACOS does not make it perfectly clear if the action is allowable, or not – this form is for you. Let us know what you would like to do, provide justification of how it complies to the Standard, and we will publish an interpretation accordingly. Your personal or company details will be kept private, but the submission, and outcome, will be open to the public.
