Australian Organic Limited members are invited to join an online member briefing on the proposed changes to AOL’s Constitution ahead of the Special General Meeting on Friday 25 September.
Wednesday 16 September | 4:30pm AEST | Online via Zoom
The AOL Board has undertaken a review of the Constitution to modernise our governance arrangements, respond to feedback received from members and ensure our governance framework better supports the organisation into the future.
This webinar is an opportunity to hear directly from AOL about:
- why the Constitution has been reviewed;
- the key changes being proposed;
- what the changes would mean for members in practice;
- proposed changes to membership categories and voting rights;
- how Directors and the Chair would be appointed and elected;
- other governance and operational changes included in the proposed Constitution;
- what happens at the SGM and how members can participate and vote.
Importantly, there will be plenty of time for member questions.
We encourage members to read the proposed Constitution and accompanying explanatory material circulated with the SGM Notice before attending and bring along any questions.
