Member Briefing: Proposed AOL Constitution Changes
Ahead of our Special General Meeting on 25 September, we’re holding an online Member Briefing and Q&A to help members understand the proposed changes to Australian Organic Limited’s Constitution. We’ll unpack what’s changing, why the changes have been proposed and what they would mean for members — including membership and voting arrangements, Director elections, the proposed Independent Chair and other changes designed to modernise AOL’s governance. And importantly, we’ll leave plenty of time for your questions.

Expressions of Interest open for Non-Executive Director Roles.
AOL are seeking candidates for Board positions from across Australia given their national membership base. To encourage participation and genuine representation throughout the organic sector, anyone within the sector, regardless of certification, is strongly encouraged to apply. Applications will close at 5pm on Thursday 27 August 2026.
Organic Industry Celebration & Awards Party

Celebrate our fabulous industry at the biggest industry party of the year! The Organic Industry Celebration & Awards party will be held on Wednesday 2 September, from 6.30-11pm, at the gorgeous Glasshaus Brucke in Melbourne to coincide with Fine Foods Australia. Enjoy great company, a spread of delicious organic food and beverages flowing all night, and after the awards are presented, music and dancing carry the night through to close.

We’re inviting your input in a consultation process on behalf of the wider organic and biodynamic industry, exploring whether to move to a single, industry-wide trustmark for certified organic products and operations in Australia.
