Australian Organic Market Report 2023

Welcome to the Australian Organic Market Report 2023, a new standard for reporting on the scope of Australian organics. AOL has been producing research-based market reports since 2008, but the 2023 iteration of our Market Report will take matters one step further by establishing baseline goals for the broader organic industry.

The comprehensive ‘state of the nation’ report breaks down organic production into multiple pre and post-farmgate categories, providing specific and actionable insights on industry sectors. AOMR23 will offer a crucial economic benchmark for plotting the future course of our growing industry, and will act as the centrepiece for in-depth policy discussions on broader issues involving agriculture, industry and trade.

AOL is working with leading economics and policy consulting firm ACIL Allen to produce this report. The report will include contributions from Mobium Group, NielsenIQ, Euromonitor, Australian certification bodies and certified organic operators, and will be published in May 2023.
