What is certified organic?
The Australian Certified Organic logo represents all the good things you’d expect when purchasing an organic product – free to range animals, cruelty free, non GM, pasture fed, socially responsible, sustainably fished, biodiversity friendly and grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, hormones and antibiotics.
From organic farming to processed food and drink or cosmetics you can find out more about what organic is here.
Wondering where to buy?
It’s easy to find certified organic products these days. Supermarkets like Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and IGA stock products with the Australian Certified Organic logo, as well as independent organic and healthy retailers near you!
You will also find them at your health food store or at a certified organic retailer near you.
A world-first RMIT University study found that eating an organic diet for just seven days significantly reduced pesticide exposure in adults by almost 90 percent!
