MAY 2020

After almost 3 months of lockdown, we are now returning to what appears to be a new normal heading into June and July.

At the AOL office we have implemented a gradual return to work plan for our operational team. In line with Government recommendations procedures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and visitors have been implemented, including strict hygiene standards, limited visitations and the removal of shared items in communal areas.

During this unprecedented time, our Board of Directors met to discuss the organisation’s long-term view post COVID-19 and have mutually agreed to no take further financial remuneration for their roles until further notice. This undeniable sign of support and leadership from our Board of Directors at this time, bolsters the strength of our organisation and the resolve as the peak industry body to continue to provide the best possible services to our members leading into the second half of 2020.

Despite the global challenges faced by all over the past many months, AOL has been steaming ahead working towards a greater future for the certified organic industry. I wanted to take the opportunity to personally thank every Bud certified operator for contributing to our success. Without you we would not be able to advocate on your behalf, thank you for your continued support and I look forward to updating you again in June and July.

Regards,

Niki Ford
