We’re throwing open the doors

AO_AUSVEG__Trolly_mock-up-4jpg_Page2Did you know that after each certified organic business is audited an independent panel reviews the information to make sure it meets the organic standards, or that organic businesses must get a special certificate before they can export?

There’s a lot involved in being certified organic and if you’re a member of Australian Organic you have a chance to go behind the scenes to find out how businesses achieve organic certification.

Australian Organic is opening its doors on Tuesday March 10 so you can meet the staff and find out about the step by step process of certification from Australian Certified Organic. Learn about the checks and balances that go into making sure that the products wearing the Australian Certified Organic logo are what they say they are.ACO-logo-2

The open day kicks off with a general meeting for members from 2 to 3pm to discuss the plans for Australian Organic and the industry. It will be followed by staff introductions and understanding certification. The day concludes with a delicious BBQ.
