There are a host of awards open at the moment which could promote your company, help you out with funding or just be plain fun to win.

Australian Export Awards

The awards honour businesses showing quality and innovation, providing endorsement for winners approaching new export markets. Finalists in 12 award categories will be judged on the strength of their international growth, innovation, marketing and financial strategies.

Coles Nurture Fund

Fifty million dollars in grants and interest-free loans are available for new products, technologies, s427943_Nurture_fund_v3ystems and processes.

Coles wants to hear about exciting and ambitious plans from smaller entrepreneurs about how they can deliver new and better product to customers, or about ideas for innovative business systems that will improve how they get product to market.

Farmer of the Year

imageThere are nine categories in the 2015 Farmer of the Year awards, including Horticultural Grower, Dairy Farmer, Grain Grower, Egg Farmer and Diversification Farmer of the Year. Entries are now open.

There are plenty of certified organic producers who take out awards, including Mel and Matt Carter (pictured) who brought home the Livestock Producer of the Year Award in 2013.

Landcare Awards

With nine national categories including Coastcare, Junior Landcare, Indigenous land management and Sustainable Farm Management there’s bound to be a category to suit you in this year’s Landcare Awards. Entries are now open.

Reef Awards 2015

If your farm is in the Great Barrier Reef catchment, you might want to enter Reef Awards 2015. It has five categories and rewards innovative and best practice initiatives. You can nominate yourself, someone else or even a group. Entries close July 17.
