Exhibit at SIAL China

Australian Organic is coordinating a multi-level display (pictured) at Asia’s largest food and beverage trade show, SIAL China, in May this year. The design pictured is indicative only. The final display will feature partnering brands and products.

SIAL attracts 55,000 professional visitors and 2700 exhibitors.

Arcadian Organic & Natural Meat Co. has already partnered with us and there are opportunities for several other businesses to do the same. The Australian Certified Organic corner stand features a large DVD/video screen, display cabinets and shelves, a kitchen and an upstairs meeting room in an excellent position.

Australian Organic’s general manager of commercial Joanne Barber visited China in 2014 to meet with buyers. She says the Asian market is genuinely very keen to source more certified organic food and drinks from Australia. “We wouldn’t be investing so much time and money in a trade show like this if we didn’t think there were real business outcomes for companies holding Australian Certified Organic certification.

“Australia talks in thousands, China talks in millions. Joining Australian Organic and other certified organic businesses at SIAL makes it much easier to get your business out there in a supportive environment.

“We are a not-for-profit group, so the only costs incurred by businesses exhibiting at SIAL with us are to recover costs.”

Australian Organic won the Trade Display of the Year Award at AUSVEG’s recent national convention. The display at SIAL China will be just as interesting, but on a much grander scale so that it stands out from the crowd. “The display will present healthy, safe and fresh food,” says Joanne.

“I would particularly encourage businesses producing wine, beer, dairy, nuts and grains, dried fruit and processed foods such as baby food, snacks, sauces, pasta and cereals to exhibit at SIAL with us. The opportunity for these categories in Asia is significant and the 2015 SIAL expo is co-locating with SIAL Wine World.”
